2nd year project
The program creates a continuity in the intersection of rue de la Tourette and rue Saint Bruno, reconfiguring the full and empty spaces and offering personal gardens and shared space.
My building is embedded in a block with large party walls, hence its form which is ultimately partly the result of the space it has in its plot. Its main orientation is to the North with the opening towards the gardens, (See. mass plan) as well as the South although the later provides towards an inner courtyard (or a second front of the building). The difference in height is managed by a set of levels between the ground floor and the first floor. Two dwellings on the ground floor are accessible by stairs and raised 1m40 from the ground to be higher than the level of the courtyard. Passing to the R+1, we follow the natu- ral curve which leads to have housing with a north facing garden. Arrived at the R+4, two T5 fill the top of this buil- ding with terrace and loggia.
